Currently Walk Bike Berkeley only occasionally hosts events, like the Ride with Elected Officials on Bike to Wherever Day. These are announced via the WBB newsletter and Bluesky. However there are many other groups that host walking and biking events in Berkeley. Check them out below!

๐ฒ Bike East Bay maintains an excellent calendar of bike events, workshops, Learn to Ride classes for kids and adults, volunteer events, and more. You can search by city or event category. They also organize the annual Bike to Wherever Day.
๐ฒ Kidical Mass is a free, kid-friendly bike ride with many adult volunteers (corkers) who ensure no one is left behind and that intersections are blocked to ensure kids can ride safely in the streets.
๐ฒ East Bay Bike Party is a free, inclusive, social, community-positive bike event every second Friday of the month. They often have routes through Berkeley.
๐ฒ The Berkeley Bike Club has weekly rides at a variety of levels and allows anyone to join them for three rides before becoming a member. In addition, riders between the age of 14-18 are welcome to join as juniors. The Berkeley Bike Club also host an exciting weekend of bike racing in Berkeley each spring, including the oldest continuously operating bicycle road race in the United States - the Berkeley Hills Road Race, first held in 1957.
๐ฒ Street Level Cycling Club organizes group rides for several experience levels, and every membership directly supports youth programs, bike access, and workforce training in our community through Waterside Workshops.
๐ฒ Community Open Shop at Street Level Cycles hosts a weekly do-it-yourself open shop which community members can use their tools, purchase new or used components, and fix their bikes.
๐ถ๐ฒ East Bay Car Free Happy Hour is a monthly happy hour meetup at transit-friendly locations throughout the East Bay (including Berkeley). Meetups are open to everyone, whether youโre car free, car light, car free-curious, or just want to hang out with fun people and have interesting conversations envisioning vibrant, safe, pleasant cities for all.
๐ถ๐ฒ Government Meetings is our WBB page about all the different levels of government or government committees that have an influence on the walking and biking conditions in Berkeley. Some of them meet in-person only and some also stream their meetings over the internet.
๐ถBerkeley Path Wanderers Association offers free, guided walks that are open to all and last 2-3 hours and proceed at a moderate, conversational pace.
๐ถUC Berkeley Guided Tours are free 90-minute accessible walking tours of the campus offered seven days a week, rain or shine. Reservations required.
๐ถBerkeley South Asian Radical History Walking Tour is a guided 3-hour walk through more than a century of South Asian American historyโset on the streets of Berkeley. Itโs an easy 2-mile walk that is wheelchair and stroller-accessible. Reservations required.
๐ถBerkeley Historical Society Walks are 1.5-2 hour guided walks exploring different areas of Berkeley and their history. Reservations required.
๐ถEdible Excursions are 3 hour food tours in North Berkeley. Offered weekly. Reservations required.
